Millie's funeral was one of the hardest days of my life, When the undertakers brought her into the our house for the one last time and put her on the coffee table, we put some toys around her and her favourite television channel on, i still couldnt believe it, that she was gone, Millie was brought loads of flowers, showed that lots of people cared about her, Millie was took to church by horse and carriage, it was lovely , we chose that because Millie liked the donkeys when we went to skegness so we had horses, I couldn't cry during the service, I was numb it didnt feel real, apart from at the end we played the Cbeebies bedtime story song, its lyrics really hit home and everyone was crying to that song, then we walked to the churchyard to lay Millie to rest, we released a white dove, as Millie was lowered in to the grave, I felt my heart break, everyone got a pink tulip to throw in and we also put a teddy in as well, then when it was filled all her flowers were arranged on top, when then went to the pub, I didnt eat much, it was a horrible day.
